Our cacao comes from my family in Guatemala, a small, family-run business led by my cousin Carlos, a third-generation cacao maker. He began learning from our grandmother and his mother at a young age, and today his children join him, continuing a tradition rooted in Mayan rituals and reverence for the cacao spirit. Each bar carries the soul of Guatemala and the sacred essence of cacao, crafted with the same care and devotion as our ancestors.

How should I store my cacao bars?

Keep your bars in a cool, dry place, ideally below 80°F, away from direct sunlight. They can last for years if stored properly. If you refrigerate them, use an airtight container to protect texture and flavor.Proper storage keeps your cacao smooth, aromatic, and delicious.

What happens if my cacao bar gets exposed to heat?

It may “sweat” or develop a slight bloom, white or grayish streaks on the surface, but this does not affect flavor or quality. Your cacao remains rich, smooth, and delicious; the bloom is just the naturalcacao fats rising to the surface.

Do your cacao bars contain additives or preservatives?

No. All of our bars are stone-ground and made from pure, organic cacao using a 3rd-generation family recipe, with no artificial additives, preservatives, or unnecessary ingredients. The 100% bar is pure cacao, while the 60% and 80% bars include only a small amount of cane sugar for smooth, balanced flavor. What you taste is authentic, handcrafted chocolate in its most natural form.
